We are always on the lookout for volunteers - whether it be an extra pair of eyes on poolside, collecting spectator fees, helping to run the club desk, raising our profile, or organising social events. We cannot do everything on our own, and would appreciate it if you could assist with one of the jobs mentioned.

Current Notices:

We currently have spaces available for SWIMMERS in both junior sessions (6.30 pm and 7.15 pm) and the adult session (8.00 pm for over 16 years). Unfortunately, there is still a waiting list for NON-SWIMMERS for both sessions.

We are now an accredited Swim 21 Club in both Swimming and Diving - well done to Val for all her hard work on getting these folders ready for assessment.

MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn to swim, irrespective of colour, race, religion, ability or disability, gender, sexual orientation or social or economic background.
To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle.
In order to achieve this, fees will be kept to a minimum cost whilst still providing development opportunities for teachers, and on condition that the club remains viable.
To ensure that Water Safety is an intergral part of all lessons at all ability levels.
To ensure that goals are realistic and achievable whilst still stretching participants physically and mentally - all goals should require practice over a period of time and not be instantly achievable.
To ensure that all members and parents are aware of pathways to other aquatic disciplines, and are given contact details if so desired.
